About Snagging Overseas | Property Inspections and Management

Snagging Overseas was set up in 2005 to provide completion services to overseas property buyers and owners. Established initially in The Algarve in Southern Portugal, the company formed successful alliances with local agents and service and now, many years later, has a well deserved reputation for great service and above all, knowledge and advice on all aspects of the property and completions service.

In 2009 Snagging Overseas expanded into Spain, Turkey and Cape Verde. Snagging Overseas saw there was a clear demand for a professional snagging company to offer completion services to clients. One of the main advantages for clients is that Snagging Overseas is not directly linked to any overseas property agent or developer so we can offer unbiased advice on the whole process.

The end of 2009 saw Snagging Overseas holding pole position as the market leader for snagging services in Portugal, Spain, Cape Verde, Turkey and also Dubai. Dubai was so successful that Snagging Overseas set up a separate Dubai Snagging just for that market.

2011 sees the further introduction of our property management services. Prior to this Snagging Overseas had offered advice on property management companies but, as the recession has bitten deeper in the overseas markets, we have seen many clients left without the service they had paid for. As a solvent company with permanently staffed offices we have decided to aid these and other clients and begin property management. After all, we inspected them at the beginning. We cleaned them, we often recommended the gardener and the maid. Why not just take that last step and keep the relationship with our client and look after their overseas home.
